Red clover (Trifolium pratense) contains a vast array of essential nutrients such as potassium, phosphorus, calcium, vitamin C, niacin and magnesium. Red clover contains isoflavones which is used to help maintain healthy menopause and cardiovascular health.

Helps support pregnancy (fertility) by aiding the detoxification of environmental pollutants prior to conception.

It is estimated that approximately 75-85% of women living in the UK experience common symptoms associated with the menopause. During this period, women’s oestrogen levels begin to fluctuate, which can trigger many uncomfortable and distressing symptoms that can have serious implications for their health. It is difficult to predict how long these symptoms last - in many cases it can be years.  Phyto-oestrogenic herbs, such as red clover extracts, are thought to be effective in helping to replace the natural oestrogen that is lost during the menopause.

Red clover is taken my many women to help maintain a healthy hormonal balance associated with hot flushes,  during the menopause, for breast tenderness and PMS  and to lower cholesterol.

How does Red Clover work?

Red clover naturally contains isoflavones which the body then converts into phytoestrogens which are very similar to the female hormone oestrogen.
